Her birth name is Camille Donatacci. She married Kelsey Grammer in the year of 1997; Kesley is an American actor and comedian famous for his two decade portrayal as a psychiatrist in NBC sitcom “Cheers” and has presently filed for separation and divorce.
Camille’s career began when she was twenty years old, 1988 as a dancer in Club MTV. She did dancing for a living for 4.5 years. She however appeared in a rock video in 1990 by Manitoba’s Wild Kingdom known as “The Party Starts Now”. In 1991 she starred in a second rock video “Give it All you Got” by Rights of the Accused. She also made an appearance in HDTV video sequence in the faous Broadway show known as “Dreamtime” which took place at Ed Sullivan Theatre in 1992. In 1993, she was a part of prestigious trio dancers who appeared at the “Tavern on The Green” in New York. Till 1993 she was featured in Playboy magazine 15 times!
Then in 1993 she joined and studied English literature at Montclair State College in New Jersey. And in 1996 she studied at UCLA Film School. While continuing her studies she also did films like “Marilyn Chamber’s Bedtime Stories” in 1993 and “The Naked Detectives” in 1996 followed by “Private Parts” and “Destructing Harry” in 1997. In 2000 she turned a writer and producer for TV sitcom “Neurotic Tendencies” for the channel NBC.
Camille met her would be husband on a blind date in MTV hosted party in 1996 and they married a year later in August 1997 at Malibu. Camille made a guest appearance on the TV sitcom “Frasier” with hubby Kelsey Grammer. The couple has a daughter by the name of Mason born in 2001 and a son known as Jude born in 2004. Both children were born to a surrogate mother. Their marriage lasted 13 years when Camille decided to get divorced on July 1st, 2010. She is currently fighting for custody of her two children and spousal support in court.
In 1996, Camille was diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Syndrome and currently works to create awareness against this disease.
